Client Challenge:
The client required HIL-based system testing support for heavy-duty vehicle braking systems, including configuration of dSpace environments, vehicle dynamics parameterization, and identification of sensor- and calibration-related issues affecting ABS/ESP behavior.

  • Configured HIL environments for heavy vehicle system testing using dSpace hardware
  • Prepared and executed test scenarios and test suites for ABS/ESP ECU systems
  • Modeled steering angle, yaw rate, wheel speed, and pressure control valve sensor behavior within VOES and Control Desk environments
  • Investigated spontaneous errors related to wheel speed sensor failures
  • Analyzed inaccurate steering angle sensor timing measurements
  • Updated wheel speed models to better reflect actual vehicle sensor resolution and boundary conditions
  • Identified calibration and software parameter issues related to wheel difference ratio behavior
  • Updated vehicle dynamic models and parameterization to improve real-life system representation and pump pressure behavior
