HIL Video Streamer for ADAS ECU

Product: HIL Component-Level Testing for ADAS ECU (Video & Radar Data Injection)

Client Challenge:
The client needed a scalable HIL environment capable of handling synchronized video and radar data injection for ADAS ECU validation. The project also involved resolving issues related to image drops, video-radar synchronization, and camera data simulation.

RSB Solution:

  • Prepared and configured a HIL environment for LVDS video and Ethernet radar data injection
  • Worked with Mobileye SIMCARD Streamer over PCI Express and Video Data Recorder hardware platforms
  • Utilized Embedded Windows environments with customer-specific tools and Vector DLL integrations
  • Investigated and resolved video image drop issues in recorded datasets
  • Improved synchronization between radar and video streams
  • Developed and supported camera data (I2C) simulation mechanisms
  • Defined and implemented HIL operating modes controlled via DID switching

Delivered Results:
The project resulted in a fully operational HIL platform capable of stable video streaming, ECU logging, and synchronized radar/video validation. The solution was successfully implemented and scaled on the customer side in France.
