HIL Video Streamer for ADAS ECU

Product: HIL Level: Component level (ADAS ECU)

Test Environment Setup:

  • Mobileye SIMCARD Streamer on PCI Express
  • Video Data Recorder used as HW base
  • Embedded Windows with customer-made tools + Vector’s DLLs

Scope: Prepare HIL system for video (LVDS) and radar (ETH) data injection

Main Responsibilities in the Project – HIL issues:

  • Some recorded data were missing video images (image drops)
  • Video and Radar synchronisation
  • Camera data (I2C) simulation

What was executed or delivered within the project:

  • Fully working HIL Unit that could handle video streaming on the ECU and log back the data for analysis
  • Implementation and HIL scaling on customer side in France.
  • HIL mode definition for Software. HIL mode was switched on via DID
