RSB Solution:
- Developed a complete collimator system for the Front Fog Lamp utilizing Variable Pitch Multi-Lens Area (VPMLA) technology.
- Defined optical geometry, optimized lens pitch, and refined beam homogeneity to achieve target photometric performance and regulatory compliance.
- Performed optical simulations to validate light distribution, efficiency, and emitted flux characteristics.
- Designed an edge-illuminated light blade with micro-optical structures for rear Turn Indicator and Taillight applications.
- Developed micro-structured optical surfaces enabling controlled light extraction, signature shaping, and uniform illumination along the light blade.
- Created photorealistic lit-on and lit-off renderings to evaluate optical effects, material appearance, and overall product styling.
- Supported design validation and collaboration with engineering and styling teams throughout the optical development process.
Delivered Results:
The project delivered a VPMLA-based collimator system for the Front Fog Lamp, an optimized edge-lit rear light blade with micro-optical structures, validated optical simulations, beam homogeneity analyses, and high-quality photorealistic renderings supporting both engineering validation and product design reviews.
